The first 2 hour class on Saturday 6th January will focus on learning how to crochet, and discovering the basics of mindfulness.
The second 2 hour class, on Saturday 27th January, will focus on how to follow a crochet pattern, which will be a granny square blanket.
The final 2 hour class, on Saturday 10th February, will focus on refining skills and introducing new techniques in both crochet and mindfulness, whilst continuing with the blanket project.
Part 1:
During this workshop, I will guide you through the basics of crochet. You’ll learn how to chain stitch, double crochet stitch, half treble stitch and treble stitch. I will teach you techniques, and tips along the way. I’ll provide all the necessary materials, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Don’t worry if you’ve never picked up a crochet hook before – this event is specifically designed for beginners.
